Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 July 2026
This page covers two things: the terms for using this website, and the general terms that apply when you order a door from us. The specific price, specification, and timescale for your project are set out in your written quotation, which forms part of the contract between us alongside these terms.
Who we are
Security Doors 'R' Us is a trading name of Security Gates 'R' Us Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12668831). Our registered office is 20 Coxon Street, Spondon, Derby DE21 7JG. Our trading address is Wohl Building, 2B Redbourne Avenue, London N3 2BS.
Website terms of use
By accessing this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site. All content on this website is owned by Security Gates 'R' Us Limited unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Our services
We supply, fit, and install bespoke security and front doors for domestic and commercial customers, including aluminium, steel, pivot, and custom doors. Work typically follows a site survey and a written quotation setting out the specification, price, and estimated timescale for your project. We aim to deliver within the timescale agreed at quote stage, though bespoke lead times and installation dates can be affected by factors outside our control (such as third-party supply delays or site access).
Fees and payment
Prices are provided in your written quotation and are specific to your project. We do not publish standard rates here, as these depend on specification, size, and installation requirements. Projects are typically subject to a deposit payable on order confirmation, with the balance due as set out in your quotation (commonly on completion of installation). Payment terms for your project will be confirmed in writing before work begins.
Cancellation and refunds
Because our doors are made to your specification, they are treated as bespoke or personalised goods. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the standard 14-day cancellation right for off-premises or distance contracts does not apply once your bespoke order enters manufacture. This means deposits may not be refundable once production has started. Before your order enters manufacture, you can cancel your order in line with the cancellation terms set out in your written quotation. If you believe your order was taken incorrectly or there has been an error on our part, contact us and we will look into it promptly.
Warranty
Our doors carry manufacturer's warranty cover on the product and a separate warranty on our installation. Warranty terms vary by product and manufacturer and are confirmed in writing at quote stage. If you have a question about cover on an existing installation, contact us directly.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your order is limited to the price you paid for the goods and services in question, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. This website is provided "as is" and we make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of its content.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about your order or our service, contact us at enquiries@securitydoorsrus.com with your order details and a description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and work with you to put things right. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms, and any contract for the supply of goods or services between us, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
