A bespoke front door and a made to measure door are the same promise: a door drawn to your opening rather than ordered from a size chart. Every door is designed exclusively for your home, milled, glazed and finished to your specification in steel or aluminium, with security-rated construction carried behind every design. If you have been looking for a bespoke front door, a made to measure front door or a custom security door, this is where it begins.
From the first design consultation to the final installation, every door is individually measured, made and installed by our own experienced team across London and the Home Counties. The result is not simply a front door, but a lasting architectural feature that defines your home from the very first impression.

Entry systems
Smart access, built into the door. Not bolted on.
Fingerprint, keypad and fob entry are seamlessly integrated into the door from the outset. Your fingerprint cannot be lost or forgotten, and the reader responds only to the authorised prints registered to your home.

- Smart release
The mechanical multi-point lock is always primary. Smart access is built in at the design stage, never a bolt-on, and works alongside the locks, never instead of them.
Tell us what you want at the survey and we will spec the entry system into the door from the start.

Good to know
Custom doors, asked and answered.
Can you manufacture a completely bespoke security door?
Yes. Every door we supply is made to order to your exact specification, so a completely bespoke security door is the normal process taken further: your size, your style, your glazing, your colour and your hardware. It is built on tested, security-rated construction by established British makers, then fitted by our own team. If you can describe it or draw it, we can specify it, quote it and have it made to order.
Can I customise the design of my security door?
Yes. The design is yours to shape: the panel layout, the mouldings, the glazing, the colour and the hardware are all specified to what you want. We draw the door for you to approve before it is made, so nothing is built until you have signed off the exact look. The security-rated construction stays constant underneath whatever style you choose.
Can I choose any RAL colour?
Yes. Your door is powder-coated to order in any RAL colour, inside and out, and it can be finished in two different colours if you want one shade facing the street and another inside. Black and anthracite grey are the most popular choices, but the whole range is open to you. The powder-coated finish is built to hold its colour outdoors for years.
Can I choose my own handles, glazing and hardware?
Yes. You choose the handles, the letterplate, the knocker, the glazing style and the finish, and we coordinate them so the whole door reads as one considered piece. Finishes run from brushed and satin stainless to chrome, matt black and brass tones. We show you the options at the survey and specify your choices on the drawing before the door is built.
Can you match the style of my existing property?
Yes. Matching an existing frontage is one of the most common reasons people come to us, whether it is a Victorian, Georgian or Edwardian house or a modern rendered elevation. We replicate the proportions, mouldings, colour and detailing, then build the door on modern security-rated construction. It looks like it belongs on the house and locks like a modern security door.
How long does it take to manufacture a bespoke security door?
Allow a little longer than a standard door, typically five to seven weeks from sign-off, because each bespoke door is drawn and made to order from scratch. We confirm the exact timing in writing once the design is agreed, so the date is set before anything is made. Nothing is built until you have approved the drawing and the price.
Is the glass security rated?
Yes. The glass in our doors is laminated security glass, which holds together when struck rather than shattering, so it resists being broken through. Where higher protection is needed it can be specified to a recognised security glass rating such as P6B under BS EN 356. The glazing is tested as part of the whole doorset, so it strengthens the door rather than weakening it.
What is P6B security glass?
P6B is a high grade of security glass under the BS EN 356 standard, which tests glass against repeated axe and hammer blows. To reach P6B, the glass must withstand more than fifty determined strikes before a person could pass through, which places it near the top of the manual attack resistance scale. It is the glazing to specify where a door has significant glass and needs to resist a serious, sustained attack.
Can I have obscured or privacy glass?
Yes. Any glazed panel can be specified in obscured or privacy glass, from lightly frosted to fully opaque, so you keep the light without the sightline. Hallways, bathrooms and side panels are the usual places people ask for it. The privacy treatment does not reduce the security rating of the glass.
Can I choose decorative glazing?
Yes. Decorative glazing is a large part of what makes a door yours: leaded, etched, sandblasted, bevelled and patterned options are all available, in clear or coloured glass. It is a popular way to match a period property or add a signature detail to a modern one. Whatever the pattern, it is made up in laminated security glass so the look never costs you security.
What handle finishes are available?
Handle finishes run from brushed and satin stainless steel to polished chrome, matt black, and brass and bronze tones. You can choose a finish that matches the rest of your door furniture and the style of your home. We show you the range at the survey and specify your choice on the drawing before the door is built.
Can I choose concealed hinges?
Yes. Concealed hinges are available across our steel and aluminium doors, giving a clean, uninterrupted edge with no visible hinge knuckles from the outside. As well as looking neater, hidden hinges remove an external fixing point, which suits a security door. We confirm whether concealed hinges suit your chosen configuration at the survey.
Can I match my hardware to my home?
Yes. You can coordinate every piece of door furniture to one finish and style: the handle, the letterplate, the knocker, the spy hole, the house numerals and the escutcheons. Matching the hardware to the door and to the rest of your frontage is what makes a bespoke door feel finished rather than assembled. We specify each item on the drawing so you approve the complete look before the door is built.
How much does a bespoke front door cost?
The cost of a made-to-measure front door depends on its size, the materials, the security rating, the glazing and hardware, and the complexity of the design, so every door is priced individually after a survey rather than from a fixed list. You see all of it up front: a written, itemised quote before any work begins.
